   Berlin, Germany  --  Restaurant food ordering company Delivery Hero has announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in PedidosYa.

PedidosYa is a leading online food ordering service in Latin America and was founded in 2009.

The company began service in Uruguay and expanded into 8 other countries in Latin America.

With the acquisition, Delivery Hero now has operations in 20 countries across four continents.
